Medicare SIA is launching an 18-month project titled “Pilot Development and Implementation of a Digital Healthcare Coordination Ecosystem”.
The project aims to improve the accessibility and quality of healthcare, particularly for patients with chronic or serious illnesses and their family members.
As part of the project, we will develop a patient portal and an integrated digital environment that will help patients, family members and healthcare professionals communicate more effectively, coordinate care and reduce administrative burden. The solution will be tested in cooperation with healthcare and social care organisations, including user experience analysis and the validation of integration scenarios.
Work integration is another important part of the project. We plan to create three new jobs for people at risk of social exclusion. Employees will receive training, mentoring, individually adapted work assignments and opportunities to develop their digital skills.
Co-funded by the European Union.
