The first private palliative care center in Latvia
We want to fill the gap where small departments and long lines often delay access to important care. Our center is designed around the needs of our clients, offering both inpatient and outpatient services that prioritize pain relief, symptom management, and emotional well-being.
What are we doing?
We at Medicare are committed to changing the palliative care industry in Latvia. Our mission is to provide compassionate and quality care for people with terminal illnesses, providing comfort, respect and support for both patients and their families. We understand how difficult it is to care for a loved one who is no longer able to care for themselves, and we are here to provide much needed help.
Inspired by personal experience, our journey began when our family had to face limited options for palliative care themselves. The long wait at public hospitals made us look for alternatives, but we found that there simply weren't any. That's why we decided to make a difference, not only for our family, but also for other people facing similar situations.
